The 2018 NBA All-Star jerseys weren’t the only thing unveiled at the Future of Flight event held by Jordan Brand on Thursday night.
To many’s surprise, Jordan Brand unveiled some new retros that are joining the 2018 lineup.
In addition to the Black Cement 3’s that are set to release in February during NBA ALl-Star Weekend, three more pairs of the Air Jordan III will release, highlighted by the return of the “White Cement” 3.
Air Jordan 3 “1988 Dunk Contest”
The “1988 Dunk Contest” 3 is the White Cement version but with a twist. It will feature a brand new completely translucent sole with a red stripe on the bottom to resemble the free throw line as well as “147” inside the tongue to mark Jordan’s score in the contest with the dunk. The shoe will release on Feb. 14 with a price tag of $200.
Air Jordan III “Tinker”
A new colorway in the Air Jordan III line pays homage to Tinker Hatfield, the man who designed the iconic model. This version features a white upper with a black mid and red accents throughout including on the heel tab. A black SWOOSH is added to the shoe, rounding off its design.
The model will release on March 24th for $200.
Air Jordan III “Flyknit”
In 2017 we saw Jordan Brand apply Nike’s signature “Flyknit” to the Air Jordan I, releasing in a few different colorways. Now the Air Jordan III gets the treatment, first coming in an all-Black colorway.
The upper is dressed in Flyknit adding the the iconic elephant print design also found on the shoe. The classic sole is featured on this model but with a twist as it glows in the dark. This shoe is finished off with a leather interior lining.
This colorway of the Air Jordan 3 releases on March 18th with a price tag of $220.
Air Jordan XXXII low “Free Throw Line”
In addition to the three colorways of the Air Jordan 3, Jordan Brand also unveiled a new colorway of the Air Jordan XXXII low dubbed the “Free Throw Line” paying homage to Jordan’s iconic dunk in 1988. The upper is dominated with white cement and the subtle elephant print design.
