The iconic “Like Mike” Gatorade commercial featuring Michael Jordan made its debut in 1991 and took the nation by storm.
It’s still one of the best sports commercials ever made and once you hear the song, it’s almost impossible to get it out of your head.
To celebrate Jordan’s partnership with Gatorade, Jordan Brand has teamed up with the sports beverage company for an awesome new collection. On Wednesday, they officially unveiled that collection and it’s pretty damn awesome.
The new collection is highlighted by a pair of the Air Jordan VI and Air Jordan XXXII in a special “Like Mike” colorway to resemble Gatorade. Both shoes come in an orange, black, white and green colorway with the VI’s retailing for $190 and the XXXII retailing for $160. You can purchase the shoes through Nike’s SNKRS app.
Shoes aren’t the only thing featured in the new collection.
There’s also apparel including long-sleeve shirts, short-sleeve shirts, socks, hat and jacket. The “Be Like Mike” logo on the apparel all feature Gatorade’s lightning bolt to replace the “I” in Mike.
While the shoes release on 12/16, the apparel is now available and can be found by visiting Nike.com.
