Jose Abreu is already racking up awards.
The MLB announced today that White Sox rookie Jose Abreu has won the AL Player of the Month award for the month of April. In addition to the award, Abreu also won the AL Rookie of the Month award for April.
Abreu is hitting .258 with 12 home runs and 34 RBI to start the season.The 27-year-old rookie leads the majors with his 12 home runs. Abreu has been great for the White Sox offensively and defensively and has been a bright spot for the White Sox to start the 2014 season.
