Chicago Cubs star Kris Bryant got married to longtime girlfriend Jessica Delp a few weekends back.
Joining Bryant at his wedding were several Cubs teammates including Kyle Schwarber who made his triumphant return from the DL to the World Series roster. Schwarber played in four games and batted .412 with 2 RBI, 3 walks and a stolen base.
Before Bryant’s wedding, Schwarber almost had to take drastic measures to get in. Schwarber, Travis Wood, John Lackey and the players’ significant others were denied entry to the wedding by a bouncer after they didn’t present their invitation.
That’s when Schwarber told ESPN 1000’s Waddle & Silvy show that he almost had to throat punch the bouncer.
“I was about to throat punch this guy because he was throwing me off,” Schwarber said about situation with the bouncer.

Yeah, I wouldn’t want to be on the receiving end of a Kyle Schwarber punch.
