Thursday night’s game in Arizona hasn’t started off as planned for the Chicago Cubs.
Pitcher John Lackey gave up three runs in the first inning, including a home run to Jean Segura on the first pitch. Then it got worse.
On a fly ball hit in the second inning by Segura, left fielder Kyle Schwarber and Dexter Fowler collided in the outfield on what was a very dangerous play. Schwarber got the worst of it as you can see below:

He was unable to put any weight on his leg and had to be carted off the field. Check back with more information on what we hope is not a serious injury.
