ProFootballTalk is reporting that the Bears defense has lost another player due to injury.
Lance Briggs has a shoulder injury that will sideline him for the next 4-6 weeks. Briggs won’t need surgery but will miss at least 3 games. This is another blow for a Bears defense that has already lost Kelvin Hayden, Henry Melton, Nate Collins, and DJ Williams for the year. Charles Tillman and Stephen Paea have dealt with recurring injuries all year as well.
The bye week couldn’t have came at a better time for the Bears, as they have a list of injured players including Briggs, QB Jay Cutler, and CB Charles Tillman.
