Larsa Pippen, ex-wife of former NBA player Scottie Pippen, has had her share of rumors going about her personal life. While she was married to the basketball legend, celeb gossip magazines did not hesitate to link her to other men, including Brooklyn Nets player Ben Simmons. Recently, Pippen addressed this rumor on ‘Going Rogue with Larsa Pippen & Michelle Pooch’.
On Monday’s episode of the program, Pippen discussed the various rumored relationships that she was apparently enjoying while she was still married to Scottie Pippen. The two got married in 1997, but then divorced in 2021 after being separated for quite a while.
“I’ve definitely been linked to guys that I’ve never even hung out with. I was linked to Ben Simmons, do you remember? And I never sought him out.” Pippen said on ‘Going Rogue with Larsa Pippen & Michelle Pooch’.
After her separation from Scottie Pippen, Larsa Pippen eventually started dating Marcus Jordan, the son of Michael Jordan. Pippen and Jordan actually did not make their relationship official until much later. Paps would photograph them together in public several times, but they kept denying the rumors. Eventually, Pippen and Jordan made their relationship official in early 2023 but then broke up in July 2024 after her mental health was impacted.
Larsa Pippen Admittedly Lost Way More Than Just Scottie Pippen During Divorce
Larsa Pippen and Scottie Pippen’s divorce was definitely more publicized way more than it should have been. In fact, their entire relationship timeline was under public scrutiny, and their separation was simply fodder for paparazzi everywhere.
In the same episode, Larsa Pippen went on to remark how much more she had lost from the relationship when compared to her ex-husband. Apparently, she went on to lose many friends, on whom she had pinned her hopes for comfort and companionship after her separation from her husband. The reality TV star also experienced ‘fair-weather friendship’ plenty during that phase.
It seems that her ‘friends’ only stuck by her as long as she was Scottie Pippen’s wife, and immediately cut strings after the relationship went south. This definitely broke Larsa Pippen’s heart way more than the divorce itself. However, the entire experience also led Pippen to Michelle Pooch who since then became BFFs with her.
Since then, the two girlies have been inseparable, and have also gone into business with each other. Most recently, the pair shared plenty of personal deets about their relationships, including unsavory moments, on ‘Going Rogue with Larsa Pippen & Michelle Pooch’, much to the delight of their fans.
