Chicago White Sox prospect Luis Robert is off to a nice start early in the Dominican Summer League.
Robert is playing in his first game as a member of the White Sox organization, just a few weeks after officially signing with the team.
After grounding out in his first at-bat, Robert homered to left field in the Dominican Summer League.
The White Sox shared this video of the home run below:

Robert then talked about his first game as a member of the White Sox organization, describing the feeling.
“I’m really happy about the way the game went for me,” Robert said via the Chicago Tribune. “I was very happy running around the bases. It was a very special moment for me. I got the baseball, and I’m going to save it in a special place.”
The 19-year-old then went on to add that he’s working on other fundamentals of his game including hitting to the opposite field and finding the right cut off man.
Expect more highlights of Robert in the near future as he continues his career in the White Sox organization.
