Despite missing a few weeks due to injury, Chicago Bulls foward Luol Deng was selected to his first All-Star game. Deng will be joining fellow Bull Derrick Rose, who was named as starter for the All-Star game earlier this week. The game will be played on February 26 in Orlando.
In 21 games played this season, Deng averaged 16 points per game to go along with 7.3 rebounds a game. Deng was sidelined for eight game due to a wrist injury. In the three games since he returned, Deng has scored 49 points and 17 rebounds.
The All-Star selection has been a long time coming. Deng has been a very consistent player for the Bulls for the past few seasons. Be sure to tune in to watch later this month!
