Per Alyssa Bergamini of 670 The Score, Buzelis became the only rookie in team history to record 60+ blocks and 60 three-point attempts made in a season.
“Matas Buzelis has 60 blks this season, marking the 10th-highest rookie blks total in team history and most since 2009-10 (T. Gibson),” Bergamini posted on X. “Buzelis (60 blks, 72 3FGM) is the only rookie in Bulls history to log 60+ blks & 60+ 3FGM in a season.”
