The NBA Free Agency period opened up last night and already the Bulls have reached a deal to retain Mike Dunleavy per reports. Yahoo! Sports Adrian Wojnarowski reports Dunleavy has verbally agreed to a 3-year-deal to remain in Chicago. The Chicago Tribune’s KC Johnson later confirmed.

The deal is worth $14.4 million according to reports, and has Dunleavy in Chicago through the 2017-18 season. Dunleavy was one of the top targets for the Bulls this off-season, who have very little to spend.
Dunleavy can’t officially sign the deal until July 9.
