Each year NFL Network puts together some of the best football documentaries out there. Their series ‘A Football Life’ is spectacular and documents a former NFL player, team or event in league history.
So far we have seen George Halas, Mike Ditka, Walter Payton, Brandon Marshall and a combo episode of Gale Sayers & Dick Butkus air. This year another former Chicago Bears player will get spotlighted.
The NFL Network released the trailer for the upcoming season of the show and former linebacker Mike Singletary will have his own episode. The show will detail Iron Mike’s journey through the NFL including his playing days as the leader of the 1985 Bears Super Bowl defense.

The season will consist of 13 new episodes and from the trailer it looks like we will get to see the story of Jerome Bettis, Terrell Owens, Christian Okoye and more. The season will kickoff on Friday, Sept. 18 and will air every Friday night at 8 p.m. CST.
