The Chicago Cubs held a banner raising ceremony before Monday’s home opener against the Los Angeles Dodgers and then followed it up by handing out World Series rings before Wednesday’s game.
While the celebrations appear to be over, there’s still some more perks coming for the fans.
Beam Suntory and the Cubs agreed to a legacy partnership in January, making Beam the official spirits partner for the team. In addition to Jim Beam Bourbon, the partnership includes Maker’s Mark, EFFEN Vodka and Hornitos® Premium Tequila. All are under the Beam Suntory brand.
But now Jim Beam is releasing something special.
A limited edition “Game 7 Batch” of Jim Beam Bourbon will hit shelves on June 1 to celebrate the Cubs historic Game 7 World Series win over the Cleveland Indians.

To help promote the new partnership, actress Mila Kunis appeared at 3 Wrigleyville bars during Saturday’s Cubs-Pirates game at Wrigley Field. Kunis threw out the first pitch at the game and passed out samples of the special batch at bars.
Here’s what Beam Suntory said via a release:
“We’re proud to call the Chicago Cubs part of our growing family, so in celebration of the Cubs’ history-making victory, we wanted to release a history-making bourbon for the occasion,” said Jim Beam’s 7th Generation Master Distiller Fred Noe. “This exclusive Jim Beam® ‘Game 7 Batch’ is our gift to the fans in Chicago from our home in Kentucky.”
