The Milwaukee Brewers are in first place in the NL Central through the first 40 games of the season.
They’ve hit well, pitched well and have played defense. Now they are starting to feel like they belong in this division and have started to stir the pot.
The Brewers took game one of a three-game series at Wrigley Field on Friday and Saturday’s game was postponed due to rain. But after the game was called, it hardly rained in Chicago.
That caused Brewers general manager David Stearns to have some interesting comments about the rain out:
But Stearns made it clear thought Cubs should have waited to call game. Questioned doing it so early. Said #Brewers had different forecast.

Stearns said he talked to Cubs about it to express his displeasure.

Brewers manager Craig Counsell had this interesting comment:
Craig Counsell on Cubs' call to ppd Saturday game: "It's the first time for us that we've had players treated for sunburn after a rainout."

I don’t know about you, but living in Chicago anyone could tell it was cloudy all day long. It didn’t rain until the late night hours, but it sure as hell wasn’t sunny.
The two teams have exchanged words already earlier in the season regarding Eric Thames hot start.
These comments, however, might be the start of an good ole’ fashion NL Central rivalry.

should’t that be the umpires call?
We helped out the Brewers, the Cubs would have taken 2 out of 3,
