The Chicago Cubs are off to a hot start in the first half of the MLB season and now they will be well represented in the 2016 MLB All-Star Game.
Major League Baseball officially announced the rosters for the game to be played in San Diego and seven members of the Cubs will be on the National League team. Of those seven, the entire Cubs infield will start the game. Dexter Fowler will get the start in center field for the team.

In addition to those starters, the Cubs will also send pitchers Jake Arrieta and Jon Lester to the game.
Having an entire infield starting is a pretty cool thing. However, shortstop Addison Russell hasn’t put up all-star type numbers this season hitting just .238 with 45 RBI’s going into July 6.
Bryant has really come on as of late and has emerged as a contender for the NL MVP race. He’s hitting .279 with an OPS of 947. His 25 home runs lead the majors and his 64 RBI’s are second in the national league.
