The MLB and the MLBPA have come to a tentative agreement on a new CBA deal. According to various sources, the season will be a full 162 game schedule, starting on April 7th.
That means Chicago Cubs and Chicago White Sox baseball will soon be back on our TV’s here in the ear future.

With the return of the game, free agency will be set to begin as early as midnight Thursday and with Spring Training right around the corner, it should be a very active one in MLB.
It is also being reported that 7 inning double headers are a thing of the past, as well as the runner on second rule for extra inning games.
Baseball is really back. Nine inning doubleheaders and regular extra inning rules return. Man on 2nd is a thing of the past.

With the owners getting together to ratify the agreement later today, free agency will be in full throttle soon after.
