This past Wednesday night’s tilt, IceHogs vs the Cleveland Monsters, did not go as planned for the Hogs. The back-n-forth game ended with the Monsters on top, 5-4.
The teams appeared to be pretty evenly matched during the first 2 frames. But in the 3rd, the Hogs seemed to lose their momentum and Cleveland was able to step up their pace. Cleveland even gifted the Hogs with two – 5 on 3 Power Play advantages during the game, but the Hogs were unable to score during them.
Rockford’s Chris DeSousa tallied two goals, while teammates Cameron Schilling and Viktor Svedberg had one goal each. Goals by the Monsters were by TJ Tynan, Joe Pendenza (2), Sonny Milano, and Daniel Zaar.
