We are another day closer to kickoff and that means another player on our most important Bears list for the 2015 season. Check out who comes in at number three.

Jay Cutler
It’s rinse and repeat for Bears quarterback Jay Cutler. Every season we go into it asking “Is Cutler finally ready to break out this season?” and this year it’s no different.
Cutler lost his favorite target Brandon Marshall in a trade to the New York Jets, but was reunited with former teammate Eddie Royal. Despite the loss of Marshall, the Bears still have weapons and more than enough for Cutler to get the job done this season. He has one of the better running backs in the league, a good tight end in Martellus Bennett and a solid receiving core lead by Alshon Jeffery.
But will this year be any different?
Last season Cutler took a lot of blame for the Bears struggles. Some of that blame was deserving as he turned the ball over a total of 26 times. Somehow, someway he also got a lot of blame for the Bears blowout losses in which the defense gave up A LOT of points.
So what should we expect from the 32-year-old quarterback this season? Well Cutler will have another new offensive coordinator to work under and from the looks of it, the two are getting along. When the Bears brought in John Fox and Adam Gase, they evaluated the quarterback and figured they could work with him. That trust the three have built will get the first test vs. Green Bay on Sunday who Cutler has struggled against the Packers, winning just one game in his career.
It will likely be the last test for Cutler in a Bears uniform as the team can move on from him if he has a disappointing year. It also could finally be the year that Cutler turns it around.
Either way it’s going to be one hell of a roller coaster. Again.
