The National Basketball Association (NBA) is one of the most entertaining sports leagues in the world. In the NBA, blowouts are common, but there are those that are more noteworthy than others. The Charlotte Hornets give us the biggest win of the decade. The Hornets’ star player shone in the win during the 2017-18 season. As the season drew to a close, the Hornets pulled off a big triumph. Charlotte may not have qualified for the playoffs that season (with a 36-46 record), but their victory gave them something to be proud of.
Kemba Walker, the Hornets’ standout point guard, scored 46 points in the contest. He made 72 percent of his shots from the field and 71 percent of his 3-point attempts. Walker was smoking hot and was instrumental in Charlotte’s victory.
