Embarrassing.
That’s one word to describe Friday’s Game 6 at the United Center between the Chicago Bulls and Boston Celtics.
It was an elimination game for the Bulls and they came out flat, again. For the third home game of the series, the Bulls just couldn’t muster anything against the Celtics to start and in the end it doomed them.
The Celtics opened up a 54-41 lead at halftime and didn’t look back, eventually winning 105-83 and ending Chicago’s season.
Chicago blew a 2-0 series lead, losing four-straight after point guard Rajon Rondo suffered a fractured right thumb in Game 2.
At the end of Game 6 Bulls fans, who were still there, let their frustrations out and started to chant “Fire Hoiberg” which could be heard throughout the United Center:

Ouch.
Oh, Bulls fans also booed Mitch Trubisky when he was shown on the JumbroTron at the game. We get the firing Hoiberg chant, but booing a quarterback who had no control of being taken by the Bears in his first day in the city?
C’mon, you’re better than that Chicago.
