New York Yankees closer Aroldis Chapman looks like he’s finally going to find his new team.
According to a report from FOX Sports’ Ken Rosenthal, the Yankees have informed teams that they are close to trading Chapman. In addition, they are also planning on keeping setup man Andrew Miller who drew interest from a few teams.
There’s no word on who the Yankees are close to making a deal with for Chapman, but Jon Heyman offers his insight on teams that were “last in” on Chapman:
nats, cubs, giants indians were in on chapman last heard. @Ken_Rosenthal says yanks telling teams might have deal soon

The Yankees have reportedly asked for Kyle Schwarber in a trade with the Cubs, but Theo Epstein and the front office likely won’t part with the young slugger.
If Chapman ends up with a National League contender such as San Francisco or Washington, it could be bad news come playoff time for the Cubs.
