3. Terrell Lewis could be a major pass-rushing surprise for the Chicago Bears
Edge rusher Terrell Lewis welcomed rookie right tackle Darnell Wright into the league by blowing past him three times for two sacks during the Bears’ first practice of mandatory minicamp last month. Lewis is keeping that momentum going through the first two days of training camp.
Lewis, who was waived by the Los Angeles Rams and was signed to the Bears practice squad in December, could steal a spot on the 53-man roster if he continues to ball out in camp. However, Lewis might have more of a challenge going up against the offensive line when the pads come on.
