West Virginia wide receiver Kevin White saw his draft stock rise with an impressive Scouting Combine. He’s now regarded as one of the top receivers in the draft and should be a top 10 pick come April 30.
One NFL Draft expert thinks the Chicago Bears are the perfect landing spot for White and thinks he will be available when the Bears pick. ESPN’s Mel Kiper released an updated version of his NFL Mock Draft and he currently has the Bears selecting White number seven overall.
Here’s a little of what Kiper said in his article:
White has the deep speed and size the Bears need in the passing game as they fill the void left by the departure of Brandon Marshall, and White feels like a pretty good get at this point.
The 6-foot-3 receiver would fill a hole in the Bears receiving corps after the trade of Brandon Marshall, so the pick would make sense for the team. However, if the Bears do go receiver in the first round they could have their choice of White or Alabama’s Amari Cooper if he’s available.
In previous mocks, White has gone as high as number four to the Oakland Raiders. That’s where Kiper has Cooper going in his latest mock. White has also told reporters that he will meet with the Bears as well as the New York Jets, St. Louis Rams and New York Giants prior to the NFL Draft. White will also be in attendance at the draft.
Stud WR Kevin White said he's setting up visits w/ the Jets, Bears, Rams & Giants. He'll be in Chicago for Draft.

The Bears number seven pick seems to be getting more and more interesting as we approach draft day.
