Yes, you read that title right.
The Chicago Bears actually dropped one spot in ESPN’s weekly power rankings that were released on Tuesday, despite beating the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field. It’s a shocking move, seeing that the Bears have some wins over top 20 teams in the rankings and barely lost to the Minnesota Vikings. But the good news is that the Bears moved up in other publication’s rankings.

The Bears fall just one spot from No. 19 to No. 20 and are currently behind the Atlanta Falcons, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Buffalo Bills:
The Bears have allowed 15.5 points on average their past four games (3-1). The Bears allowed 28.9 points per game during their first seven games (2-5).
CBS Sports
Pete Prisco is showing his love for the Bears again. This week the NFL columnist has the Bears up seven spots and into the top fifteen at No. 14:
John Fox has done a heck of a job with this team. They did the right thing keeping Jay Cutler, too.

The Bears jumped up four spots in Elliott Harrison’s NFL.com power rankings to No. 19:

The Bears stayed put at No. 15, matching their highest rank this season:
I’m not saying John Fox should win coach of the year, but what he has done after a bad start has been remarkable. With a big assist from offensive coordinator Adam Gase, of course.
