Chicago is experiencing their first cold days of this Winter as temperatures are plummeting down into the single digits with wind chills below zero.
It’s cold.
Being an athlete, training doesn’t stop for the cold. Sure it gets brutal sometimes but all that hard work you put in will be worth it.
That’s when Nike comes in. The Nike Chicago store on Michigan Ave. in Chicago opened a new NIKELAB section on the top floor. The special floor is your home for cold weather gear this Winter as it has a large selection.
Take a look at some photos below:
The NikeLab ACG Collection is designed for versatility, comfort and weather protection. The gear is top of the line and designed to keep you warm and comfortable during the brutal winter months.
Here’s what Senior Design Director Jarrett Reynolds said on the new collection for the winter:
“Apparel with adaptability and articulation is essential when navigating the city,” explains Reynolds. “Garments with features like removable hoods and strap systems help you adapt and transform to your environment. Everything we design for ACG has a reason and has to perform.”
Nike was kind enough to send me a care kit for the Winter in some awesome packaging. The kit included a new Nike SB Beanie, hand warmers, a reflector for running and some awesome new gear.
The gear is fantastic and has already been put to use as I’ve gone for a few runs the past week or so. Check out some of the gear below:
Can't thank the good people over at @NikeChicago enough for the care package! Ready to dominate my training this winter! pic.twitter.com/PUcfQY0x0D
