Over the years, Nike Chicago has been influential with basketball in the city by hosting numerous events for the youth of Chicago. They have put together the Chi League to showcase some of the best talent in the city as well as events to help hoopers around the city craft their skills.
But Nike Chicago’s latest creation just might be the best yet.
On Monday, Nike Chicago introduced “Just Do It HQ at The Church” complete with a full basketball court, training center and locker room where players anywhere from ages 13-19 can come and work on their skills. The space is one-of-a-kind in the city and was transformed from an old church into this basketball facility.
The Church of the Epiphany which is located in the West Loop closed and was and desanctified in 2011 with Nike Chicago taking over the space in early 2018. They then transformed the church into this new space incorporating stained glass windows, pews and more to give it an incredible feel.

To help celebrate the new opening, Nike Chicago had current and former players attend to surprise the attendees. Scottie Pippen, Jabari Parker and Lauri Markkanen as well as members of the Chicago Sky all made an appearance.
The space will be open through the month of August on Monday-Saturday with more athlete appearances, drills, skills lessons and scrimmages taking place. To register or to find out more, please visit Nike Chicago.
