After a great offensive outburst last night, White Sox bats were finall brought back to life as they were shut out by the Toronto Blue Jays, 2-0. The Sox offense was completely shut down as Dana Eveland allowed 2 hits in 7 scoreless innings, which helped the Blue Jays extend there win streak to 5 games. Eveland was in control all night as the Sox never got in an offensive flow.
Danks gave up 8 hits and 2 runs in 7 innings. Sergio Santos pitched a scoreless inning which now gives him 12 straight apperances without allowing a run, a franchise rookie record.
The only runs tonight came on a Fred Lewis double in the 5th.
Gordon Beckham was still in a slump tonight as he was 0-4 and made 2 errors at 2nd. Paul Konerko sat out tonight with a sore neck but is expected back tomorrow when the Sox try to even up the series.
