After a very successful collab with Nike in the past, Virgil Abloh is back at it again brining his “Off-White” touch to the popular Air Force 1 Low Shoe in an exclusive drop that pays homage to Chicago.
Abloh recently created a new exhibit in Chicago’s Museum of Contemporary Art which opened up on June 10th and will run through the Summer. The exhibit titled “Virgil Abloh: Figures of Speech” shows off Abloh’s creative work in the city of Chicago, close to his hometown of Rockford.
To celebrate the new exhibit, Abloh is teaming up with Nike once again to launch the OFF-WHITE x Nike Air Force 1 Low MCA. The shoe is dressed in a blue upper to represent one of the colors on the Chicago flag. It’s equipped with metallic silver swooshes, white laces and OFF-WHITE’S branding of a red zip tie and red tag to round off the design. Nike released official images earlier this week:
The release will be exclusive to the NIKE SNKRS App and should drop sometime this Summer. We don’t have an exact release date, so keep your eyes peeled out for one.
