Baseball Prospectus updated its MLB prospect list which is loaded with Cubs prospects near the top. But the White Sox weren’t shut out and had a nice showing in the top 50.
Both Tim Anderson (No. 39) and Carlos Rodon (No. 41) earned top 50 rankings by the baseball publication. In January, BP listed Anderson as the White Sox #1 prospect ahead of Rodon. Anderson had a nice year in 2014 despite missing some time with an injury. He hit .301/.327/.481 with 37 extra-base hits in 2014.
Anderson and Rodon were the only two that cracked the list this year, but digging deeper into the article BP thinks Spencer Adams will be firmly in the conversation for next year’s list.
