Chicago Blackhawks star Patrick Kane may have just had one of the best stories of the NHL offseason so far.
While on a American Airlines flight recently, Kane did something special for a soldier who was also on board that same flight. According to flight attendant Teri Truss, Kane gave up his first class seat for a soldier to sit in.
Here’s the tweet she posted:

The Blackhawks doing great things for the military is nothing new. The team honors a different member of the military allowing them to be on the ice during the singing of the national anthem before each game.
The veteran then receives a loud ovation from the crowd to honor their service.
