The cornerstones of the Chicago Blackhawks will be around until at least 2022-23, as Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews have agreed to deals with the team. The duo both agreed to a eight-year deal worth $84 million each.
With their contracts up after this upcoming season, getting these deals done now were key. Both will stay in the franchise and surely have Chicago in contention.
Toews has 195 goals and 246 assists in his career with the Blackhawks and won the 2010 Conn Smythe Trophy. Kane has 178 goals and 315 assists in his career. He also won the Conn Smythe Trophy in 2013.
