The Chicago Blackhawks go as their two cornerstones go. And so far, those corner stones have produced for the organization.
Winger Patrick Kane extended his franchise record point streak to 23 consecutive games on Tuesday, giving him some hope that he can catch Wayne Gretzky’s all-time mark. But Kaner’s goal did more than just extend the streak, he’s now tied with teammate Jonathan Toews for career goals.

That stat is extremely impressive and shows how much the two bring to the organization. Since the Blackhawks drafted Toews (2006) and Kane (2007) the two have been magnificent, helping the team bring home three Stanley Cups.
Kane obviously has the bragging rights seeing that he’s been in the league a year less than Toews, but both have been remarkable.
When you draft players that high, you expect them to produce. That’s exactly what Kane and Toews are doing and as long as they are wearing the Blackhawks sweater, the team has a chance to win it all every year.
