The 2018 MLB season is just under 10 days away and the Chicago Cubs will open up the campaign in Milwaukee. The Cubs are coming off a 2017 season in which they reached their third-straight NLCS, but lost to the Los Angeles Dodgers in five games.
Before the new season starts, Major League Baseball has released the special jerseys and caps teams will be wearing for holiday games this year.
The new caps and jerseys will be worn on Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Jackie Robinson Day, Memorial Day, and July 4th weekend, with each playing to the theme of the holiday. It’s a tradition that started a few years back and we’ve seen some pretty great versions. The 2018 ones are no different.

The jerseys and caps will also go on sale soon with proceeds of the Mother’s Day versions going to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, Father’s Day to benefit the Prostate Cancer Foundation, and both Memorial Day and Fourth of July going to the military.
