After a Juan Pierre single, Alexei Ramirez and Rios were able to move Pierre over to third base. It was then Paul Konerko who picked up his 61st RBI of the season giving the White Sox the 1-0 lead. That is all either team was able to get in the game as the Sox went on to win 1-0, sweeping the Angels in a four game set.
The star of the game though was John Danks. Danks had a no hitter through 6 innings but it was Reggie Willits who hit a single to break up the no hitter. That did not phase Danks those as he pitched a complete game two hitter giving the Sox their fifth straight win.
The game was completed in one hour and fifty minutes.
