A few minor changes made after an embarrassing lost to the Detroit Lions were made today, manly for the practice squad. Which really doesn’t matter and won’t help the team, that needs as much help right now.
*The Bears waived safety Winston Venable. Venable was an undrafted free agent. He made 2 tackles in 5 games in limited playing time this year.
* Safety Anthony Walters replaced Venable on the 53 man roster. He was on the practice squad.
* The Bears added DE Jake Lapad to the practice squad, he was with the Bears in training camp. Also, WR Max Komar was added to the practice squad. Komar was officially signed yesterday. You can see the article of the Bears signing Komar here.
* To add both Laptad and Komar to the practice squad, the Bears terminated the contracts of WR Kris Adams and RB Armando Allen. I’m surprise to hear about Adams, he shined in preseason.
