The 2015-2016 Season began last night in Rockford with the first of two Pre-Season games for the IceHogs. There were a few familiar faces on the IceHogs roster…Jake Dowell, Pierre-Cedric Labrie, Jeremy Morin, Tanner Kero, and Dillon Fournier to name a few. Pre-Season games usually aren’t that good, as they are filled with players wanting to be noticed by the coach. Their objective is to make the Team. Period. This didn’t seem to be the case last night. The IceHogs appeared to have already gelled together as a team. Even though the game outcome wasn’t in the IceHogs favor, they appeared to dominate the game in all 3 periods.
The IceHogs travel to Milwaukee tonight for Pre-Season game #2 . The first official game of the new season finds the IceHogs on the road on October 9th in San Jose, CA. IceHogs play at home, in Rockford, for the first time on October 17th at 7pm against the Texas Stars.
