The already up and down postseason for the Hawks continued it’s roller coaster today as the Hawks were dropped by the Predators tonight 4-1. From the drop of the puck in the 1st period it was clear that the Preds just had more intensity then the Hawks. The Hawks had the game tied at 1 after one but the Preds poured it on during the 2nd and 3rd periods and Niemi and the Hawks had no answer. The fundamental style that the Predators play is clearly affecting the Hawks, as you can tell they are getting fraustrated with the lack of five on four opportunities they get. The Hawks will look to bounce back Thursday night in Nashville.
