Finally the Chicago Bears fan base can let out a collective sigh of relief. Sean Jensen of the Chicago Sun-Times is reporting on Twitter that the Bears have came to an agreement on a long-term contract.’
UPDATE: Reports are that it’s a four year deal around $8 million per year.
A happy Forte to start out the season will be phenomenal. With Michael Bush helping carry the load, this Bears offense is going to be stellar. The days of Kahlil Bell and Marion Barber scavenging for carries are over.

when are we going to stop giving a sh_ _ what these guys make? they are overpaid, overglorified and underacheivers. people are dying out here trying to put food on the table and these arrogant miilionaires are shoving their wealth in our faces and fans keep paying the rising ticket prices to pay them. stop the insanity! there are hundreds of athletes who would play for a lot less and with a lot more committement than some of these so called “stars!” ever watch monor league baseball? college football? gymnastics? no million dollar contracts just pure drive and dedication. $5 million a year not enough Matt? Try making $10 an hour and feeding a family of five! i am so sick of this!
Why are you so angry about this topic? First off these guys beat their bodies up so if player is producing then he should get what team think he deserves. Remember Owners pay players. Second what does this Forte feeding his family have to do with you. Quote from The Best Rapper Alive “Why are you mad at me? Can I live….what you eat dont make me sh**.”
Nothing like hip-hop lyrics to prove a point!
