The Ontario Reign topped the IceHogs on Sunday afternoon, 3-1. This was the very first time the teams played each other and they appeared fairly evenly matched in the first frame. As the game progressed though, the Reign appeared to gain momentum, while the IceHogs seemed to lose steam. The Hogs’ play this afternoon, appeared disjointed. This was the 3rd game in 3 days for the Hogs, so perhaps they were just out of gas and running on fumes.
Next home game is November 19th at 7:00pm against the Texas Stars. Earlier in the afternoon is the annual Have a Skate with Bob charity hockey games and their Silent Auction during the IceHogs game. Proceeds raised go to help fight Pancreatic Cancer.
