The Chicago Bears may have lost more than the game to the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday.
Running back Matt Forte had to leave the game in the second half with a knee injury and he didn’t return. After the game, head coach John Fox didn’t speculate on the severity of the injury. Now FOX Sports’ Jay Glazer is reporting that the Bears don’t think its an ACL injury, but rather an MCL injury.
Bears don't think it's an ACL for Matt Forte, per @JayGlazer. They think MCL.

Will Carroll is reporting that Forte will miss about a month with and MCL sprain.

The Bears will know more when testing is done on Forte and we should expect an update during one of John Fox’s press conferences this week. An MCL doesn’t always mean it’s severe but it’s usually not good.
If Forte is out for an extended period of time, the Bears will turn to rookie Jeremy Langford to carry the load. Second year back Ka’Deem Carey could more action as well.
Forte suffered an MCL sprain in 2011 and missed the remaining four games of the season as the Bears finished 8-8 and missed the playoffs.
