The Chicago Blackhawks will make a return to the NHL’s Winter Classic Game but this time in a different setting.
According to Barstool Chief of Barstool Sports, the Chicago Blackhawks will host the Boston Bruins in the 2019 Winter Classic at Notre Dame Stadium. It’s not official yet but the report states that an announcement will come later this month before Notre Dame hosts Army in football.

The game will mark the return to outdoor games for the Blackhawks after not playing in one during the 2017-18 season for the first time since 2012-13. Chicago has hosted the 2009 Winter Classic at Wrigley Field and the 2014 NHL Stadium Series game at Soldier Field.
They have also played in Washington, Minnesota and St. Louis for outdoor games.
