While the rumors all surround the future of Chicago Bulls guard Jimmy Butler, a Chicago native could be coming home.
The Houston Rockets are reportedly receiving calls on guard Patrick Beverley from teams. One of those teams is the Bulls.
Rockets beat writer Calvin Watkins first reported the news on Wednesday afternoon:
Source: Rockets guard Patrick Beverley is getting love on trade market. Bulls, Knicks and Cavs expressed interest.

Of those three teams interested, the Cleveland Cavaliers are the only one with a legit shot at making a NBA Finals run. The Knicks likely wont make the playoffs and the Bulls just aren’t ready to win now.
That might not stop the team from bringing in the Chicago native however. The Rockets said they have “no plans to trade Beverley” but aren’t ruling it out:
The #Rockets said they have "no plans" to trade Patrick Beverley not "won't be traded." Morey is listening 2 offers y'all, not ruling out.

The 28-year-old is averaging 9.6 points, 4.4 assists and 5.6 rebounds per game this season for the Rockets.
