It’s no secret that the Chicago Bears are going to be players in the free agent market for a wide receiver and likely will take one in the upcoming 2022 NFL Draft as well. And while the big names like Davante Adams, Chris Godwin and Mike Williams are off the market, and Allen Robinson likely not returning, the Bears will turn to second-tier guys on the market.
On Sunday, there was a report that the Bears should be a player for JuJu Smith-Schuster and now they are being connected to another receiver.
PHNX reporter Johnny Venerable tweeted that the Bears have been interested in Arizona receiver Christian Kirk for a few weeks now:
The Chicago Bears have been interested in Christian Kirk for weeks now.

The 25-year-old Kirk has spent four seasons with Arizona but is set to hit the open market this week and is looking for a big deal. Rumors are circulating that he’s seeking $15M annually, putting him up there close to projections for Robinson. But is he worth it?
In four years, Kirk has 236 receptions for 2902 yards and 17 touchdowns but has shown the ability to be able to stretch the field. And that’s what the Bears need on their offense to surround quarterback Justin Fields with talent.
The legal tampering period begins Monday and expect to hear the Bears name involved with not only Kirk but other free agent receivers out there as well.
