According to a report from ESPN Chicago, the Chicago Bulls have expressed interest in free agent guard Lance Stephenson. The Bulls are among other teams showing interest in Stephenson, including the Los Angeles Lakers and Charlotte Bobcats.
Stephenson and the Pacers couldn’t agree to terms as he turned down a five-year, $44 million deal last night. Money is obviously a factor in his decision, but Stephenson has expressed his interest in playing with a contender or a team on the rise.
He averaged 13.8 points, 7.2 rebounds and 4.6 assists while leading the NBA in triple-doubles last season.
