Wade then texted reported David Alridge to confirm the report and say “It’s real.”
With a few teams in the Wade sweepstakes, it was revealed none offered Wade a third year in his contract including the Heat. He agreed to a 2-year-deal with the Bulls worth $47.5M. He will likely sign his contract in the coming days.
The Bulls had to make two moves to clear cap space for Wade. The first one was sending Mike Dunleavy to the Cleveland Cavaliers:

The 34-year-old Wade averaged 19.4 points, 4.1 rebounds and 4.6 assists during the 2015-16 season. He’s a 12-time All-Star and will share the backcourt with Rajon Rondo and Jimmy Butler.
