The Chicago White Sox just wrapped up a four-game series with the New York Yankees at Guaranteed Rate Field with the two teams splitting the series. After getting to the .500 mark with a win on Friday, the White Sox dropped the final two games of the series.
Despite that, they are starting to play better baseball and some more help for the lineup is on the way.
According to a report by Andy Slater of 640 The Hurricane radio, the White Sox will call up prospect Zack Collins:
The catcher is rated as the No. 11 prospect in the White Sox farm system and will be the first big call up for the team this season. The 24-year-old was selected No. 10 overall in the 2016 MLB Amateur Draft and is .250 with a .374 on-base percentage at Class AAA Charlotte.
The White Sox will need to make a corresponding move as Collins is not on the 40-man roster.
