Could Derrick Rose actually make a return to the Chicago Bulls? Well, according to one report it’s possible.
On Thursday, it was reported that Rose was in contact with the Cleveland Cavaliers to join the team on a one-year deal. The idea of the Cavaliers adding Rose on a team-friendly deal to pair him with LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love makes sense.
It was also reported that Rose met with the Los Angeles Lakers.
According to USA Today’s NBA Insider Sam Amick, Rose is expected to make his decision this weekend choosing between the Cavaliers, Lakers and Bulls. Yes, the Bulls.
Derrrick Rose likely to pick team this weekend, I'm told. Cavs, Lakers, reported, but talks w/ his agent, BJ Armstrong, & Bulls too.

Chicago traded the former MVP to the New York Knicks in June of 2016. It appeared as if the relationship was over between the two sides.
Now, that might not be the case.
With an already loaded roster of point guards, it doesn’t make a whole lot of sense for Rose to join the Bulls.
Cleveland would give him the best chance to win a title and the Lakers would have the role best fit for the veteran point guard.
But with Gar/Pax at the helm, would it really surprise anyone?
UPDATE: Shortly after the Amick tweet, The Athletic’s Sean Highkin reports that the Bulls have no interest in bringing back Rose.
