It doesn’t come as much of a surprise as the Bears/Fox connection is strong and was immediately linked to the Bears after parting ways with the Broncos. An announcement could come at any moment.
Last night, John “Moon” Mullin reported that the job is Fox’s if he wants it:
As Wednesday wore on, a veteran NFL source told CSNChicago.com that “the Bears job is John’s if he wants it.”
The “John” was John Fox, who parted ways with the Denver Broncos on Monday and was believed to be close to a deal with the Bears late Wednesday.
This does not mean that Fox is the head coach just yet, but negotiations are still ongoing.

He should make sure he makes it clear to Ryan Pace that he doesn’t want Jay Suckler. If he keeps Baby Jay, we will be looking for a new coach again in the near future.
