After meeting with four different NFL teams this past week, Chicago Bears offensive coordinator Adam Gase is closing in on the head coaching job with the Miami Dolphins.
According to reports, Gase and the Dolphins are close to a deal that could get done as early as Saturday for the 37-year-old to be the next head coach. The two sides are working hard to get a deal done with some slight issues remaining in the contract. As of now, Gase hasn’t agreed but that’s likely to change very soon.
Expect Adam Gase to be announced as the next Dolphins head coach at a 3 p.m. press conference.

Gase followed head coach John Fox to Chicago in the 2015 offseason after he wasn’t given the San Francisco 49ers job. He also turned down an interview with the Cleveland Browns. He’s done wonders with quarterback Jay Cutler this season, improving his numbers and putting out a gameplan that Cutler executed.
For Bears fans, the talk of Gase leaving started as early as the preseason so it was expected. Gase will become the fourth-straight head coach hired without previous experience in Miami.
Stay tuned for more.
