The Yu Darvish sweepstakes appear to be coming to an end and the pitcher will reportedly sign with an MLB team very soon.
According to MLB reporter Jon Morosi, Darvish is expected to sign with an MLB team this week ending his free agency just under a month before pitchers & catchers report to Spring Training.
Morosi also notes that the Minnesota Twins are one team that Darvish is having active talks with.

This has been a big news week regarding Darvish. It was reported on Monday night that the Chicago Cubs were in ongoing talks with Darvish, hoping to finally land the free agent pitcher.
Then a day later, The Athletic’s Patrick Mooney reported that momentum has picked up on Darvish and the Cubs have their sights set on him. But this just might be the biggest news, with Morosi dropping the report that Darvish will likely sign this week.
Along with the Twins and Cubs, the Milwaukee Brewers are one of the teams interested in Darvish and have made an offer.
Where will he end up? Stay tuned.
